The Weekend and Planning

Weekends come with a whole lot of obstacles that may take your health journey off course. A common thought distortion everyone experiences during the weekend is "I've stuffed up, and ruined my efforts to be healthy this weekend. I will restart on Monday."

But these kind of thoughts can get in the way of our progress. Your challenge today is to come up with a counter-thought you will use to fight off this unhelpful thought if it comes up for you.

Here are some examples to inspire you:

"One bad meal does not ruin my efforts to be healthy this weekend"

"There is no need to wait until Monday to get back on track. My next meal is a chance to make healthier choices."

"I met my goal each day this weekend. I have made some efforts to be healthy this weekend."
